Tranlsation
God invites to peace and tranquility and He guides whom He wills to true [straight] guidance. Whoever does good, God will reward good for them and more (as He wills). They will face neither disappointment nor shame and they will be given peace and plenty [jannah— garden] in which to abide.
Those who do evils, the consequence will be likewise evil, and they will be shamed. They have none to protect them from God (natural order of action and consequence) and they will find themselves obscured as if the darkness of the night has fallen on them. They are in the company of those who are in the Fire and therein they will be confined. 467
A day will come when We [God] will gather them back together and We [God] will say to the polytheists: “Stay where you are, you and your deities.” We will then separate them, and their deities will say: “You did not serve us. God alone is sufficient as a witness between you and us; we were incognizant of your ever worshipping us.” This is how every human soul will recognize what it had accomplished before and now that they are brought face to face with God, their true Patron, all of their past shenanigans will desert them (leaving them on their own to account for themselves).” 468
Interpretation
467 The contrast between good and evil is evident to all of us as we innately feel connected to good and repulsed by evils. The consequences of such good and evil are also part of the natural order of things as put in place by God in this world, and as God will make directly evident in the life to come after resurrection. Doing good in faith is akin to a life of inner peace and tranquility since justice and truth will prevail in such a society and community, even though there may be temporary setbacks and turmoil caused by the evils done by a few. But when evil prevails and becomes the social norm, there will be widespread corruption, loss of human freedom and injustice, and the society will plunge into darkness, as if the sun of truth is no longer shining on the masses. Such a condition will amplify in the hereafter, as God will take account of each one of us and our communities, where we will not be able to hide the truth, and the consequences of good and evil will manifest themselves without any hindrance in the form of a garden of peace and plenty for those who have done good in faith, and a fiery pit that will consume the evildoers.
468 Storytelling and helping us visualize the life to come are some of the ways God makes us aware of our life and its consequences. Polytheists who associate others with God, be it another deity, demigod, saint, pir, cleric, or corrupt leader whom they worshipped, prayed to, or aligned with and considered them a partner to God or an intermediary to God, or formed alliance in defiance of God’s guidance, will find themselves on the Day of Judgment alone and abandoned by such intermediaries or their power or their wealth. Such is the reality that we need to reflect on in this life and reorient ourselves while are still alive and able.

REFLECTION
There is no compromise in the eyes of God between truth and falsehood, between justice and corruption, between human dignity and affront to humanity, and any attempt to equivocate a created being or thing with God Almighty.
ACTION
While these concepts might be clear to everyone, in practice we fall prey to conducts and activities that go counter to such beliefs and understanding. Every fork in the road that we encounter requires careful consideration so that we do not find ourselves on the wrong side against truth and justice. Similarly, deeper reflection and understanding and careful practice of truth and justice is essential to avoid the pitfalls of evils and injustice.
